Seafood Temple

Went to the Seafood Temple in Oban for a celebratory meal Friday evening, celebrating Julie's half century and Isobel's results.  A fabulous evening weather wise allowing us to enjoy what must be one of the West Coasts best settings for a restaurant.

Isobel and I started with the scollops with a lime and coriander crust, Julie opted for the mussels in cider.  For main Ellie Isobel and I had the lemon sole with a lemon butter sauce whilst Julie went for the lobster.

Finished it off with a ginger cake, caramel sauce and vanilla ice-cream.  Yummie.

And all backed up with the fabulous backdrop of Oban bay and some rather nice yachts on the moorings, Isobel and I decided we quite fancied the racing yacht with a Union Jack on the stern on the right in the photo below.
