Saturday was a fabulous day with wall to wall sunshine. Isobel fancied a look at the new Slate Islands Heritage Centre where Ellie Julie and I had been earlier in the week so we all cycled from home to the Luing ferry and then round to the centre at Cullipool. Julie spotted them preparing fresh lobsters for the evening menu and, shameless as ever, asked if they could spare a couple, and we were left finding space for two lobsters in our rucksacks, all for £14!
When we got home it was high tide and not to be outdone be her sister, Isobel headed out for a sail in her Pico whilst Ellie took Buzz out for a spin, both sailing around like a pair of professionals (well that was until Isobel capsized!)
And as always seems to happen, what starts off with sailing or kyaking ends up deteriorating into swimming and jumping in off the rocks!
And to finish it all off, that pair of lobsters and a nice glass of white wine!
