Ellie's Trip To Hintertux

Friday night saw Ellie returning from a 2 week ski racing camp in Hintertux in Austria with Sean Langmuir and his team at ATC.  She had a fantastic time and only lost one day to the weather which is exceptional given they were skiing up on the glacier.  She has come back with some stunning photos and I have to say that I suspect we missed her a lot more than she missed us!!  Life was very quiet without our little chatterbox!

Last Day of Holidays

Friday was the last day of our holiday over in Seil. The weather remained dry and a little overcast with the high pressure but certainly not complaining at 4 straight days of no rain!  Isobel, Dean and I went for a walk from Seaview to Cuan, picked up a nice buoy in pristine condition that had been washed up on the shore, another addition to the swing at the cottage!

Had a late lunch down at the platform by the shore, Julie was trying to hide from the camera in the first photo!

West Coast Sunset

Yesterday evening we were treated to a west coast special sunset!  We went in to Piaza for a meal so here are some photos from the bottom of the garden and the last two are looking across Oban Bay from the North Pier next to Piaza.

Walk to Ardmaddy

Yesterday was just fantastic weather,, the West Coast at its best.  We walked over to our neighbors at Ardmaddy and enjoyed a walk round the garden with some fantastic autumn colours and late summer flowers followed by a stroll down to the harbour.
