Spent Friday cycling from Crinan to Ardrishaig and back. For once it was dry (well most of the time!) if a little overcast. We fueled up in the cafe at Crinan basin, the lemon layer cake was particularly good.
Ellie Isobel and I cycled together with Julie opting for a more relaxed and leisurely pace! Ardrishaig saw the obligatory refueling stop and ice-creams for the girls, a copy of the Times for me so I could enjoy reading about "60 all out".
Caught Julie up at Cairnban on the way back and arrived back at Crinan just in time to see Vic32 entering the basin and mooring up. A trio of Hawsons on board, Susie as Head Chef with Ishbel sous-chef and cabin boy David!
