The Greens were at opposite ends of the country this weekend, Ellie and Julie were up in Aviemore where Ellie was again training up on Cairngorm Mountain. Unfortunately the hill was closed on Saturday with 100mph winds so it was a fitness session down at the community centre but they were able to get some good slalom training done on Sunday.
Meanwhile I went down to Glasgow for the weekend to meet up with Isobel. We went to a concert at the SSE Hydro, part of the Celtic Connections Festival. It was a concert by the GRIT Orchestra playing a piece by Martyn Bennet, Bothy Culture. It was recorded by BBC Scotland and is being shown next weekend.
