Tuesday Evening

Had a pre-dinner swim on Daymar beach on the high tide, somewhat chilly without the wetsuit, Ellie and Anna declined to partake, electing to sit on the rocks instead.

Dined alfresco, enjoying a spectacular west coast sunset.  Sarah enjoyed her birthday cake.

Wednesday Morning

Went over to Padstow on the ferry this morning.  If this is still off peak then I am not sure I want to come back in peak season!  Today was plenty busy enough for me.  Walked round to Rock and caught the ferry, tide was very low so went from beach to beach rather than main slipway.  Walked in to town, was pretty sweltering so first stop was Rick Stein's cafe for a restorative cup of tea.  Picked up a menu whilst we were there.

After that it was next door to the kitchen and book shop. they must be clearing some serious cash!  Next I was dragged off to some clothes shops by Ellie and ended up a little poorer, see photos below!

Came back over on the ferry, at least the breeze had picked up which made things a little cooler and a nice fresh sea mist rolled in to make it a little more civilized.
