Ramstone Garden, May 16th

The garden is changing by the day at the moment. Spent the day doing lawns, weeding etc so here are a few photos from this afternoon.

Ramstone Garden

The garden at Ramstone is finally coming into flower after a cold winter. All the rhododendrons seem to be coming out together so it is looking pretty spectacular, the photos do not do it justice.

Final Ski of The Year

Been a while since I last posted on here.  This weekend Ellie and I decided to head off to the West Coast for the weekend and have a final ski of the year at Glencoe.  There was still loads of snow in the main basin although getting up there was "pretty sketchy" as Ellie put it, the wall T Bar required a bit of rock hopping.

Was great to meet up with Pete and Heather and share a few runs, particularly enjoyed Spring Run which was well worth the short hike across the rocks to get to the top. Must be over 20 years since we last skied together.

Snowman!

The snow was just perfect for building a snowman at the weekend and Ellie and Julie certainly made the most of it, complete with Groucho Marx moustache and bow tie!
