Boxing Day Walk

Had a fabulous if somewhat bracing walk from the T&T,, along the top of the hill to the Ardencaple road and then back along the shore to Puilladobhrain and then back over to the T&T

First Snow of Winter

Went to see Specter last night and on the way home the road suddenly started turning white and by 10pm we had about 2-3 inches of fresh snow and a very excited Ellie.

It was off to Alford for skiing this morning and the dry slope was running beautifully with a nice covering of snow (until the skiers got onto it!).  Ellie was skiing well today and managed to get her time below 8 seconds for the first time.

And really pleased when I got home and found that my super sophisticated 16 year old daughter (her of the slinky ball gown) is not so old that she can't revert to building a snowman, all be it a suitably accessorised one!

Isobel Heads To The Ball

Isobel is off to the 5th year ball tonight.  Seems like only yesterday that she and her friends were 5 year olds heading off to birthday parties in their flowery Boden dresses!  They grow up very fast!
